Im right there with you, I really like the inception soundtrack and wanted to give the same sort of sound a shot too.

This is excellent, it has a really nice build and the strings add alot to it. Excellent work.

[Batman & the Circus Gang - ST]

Excellent work!

I must give you your due, you certainly a very good job, I think to understand the track though watching the youtube version definetly does add to it.

I think it's a gutsy move, people are going to compare you to Danny Elfman who did sell the Tim Burton Batman look very well with his composition. I really liked the track the only thing I think though is that it seem totally void of Batman, it's so concentrated on the circus that the darkness of Batman has been left slightly aside. Don't be scared to drop down the tone and bring it back up, I felt that Catwomans part was good but just a tad too dominant for the scene.

However none of this can neglect the fact that you did an excellent job. It's great to see you do more orchestral stuff, your name is popping up everywhere here now. Which is far from a bad thing.

Thank you very much for your comments, I really appreciate you analysing the piece.

I am a big fan of Danny Elfman and Tim Burton and like you said he sold it very well himself, so this scene in particular was hard to do without following his style too much. I shall release more stuff in the future that ventures more into different areas.

I see where you're coming from with regards to the void of Batman. the Catwoman scene was very hard to do because it has some strong elements with the dialogue and having to compose without it can cause a few problems haha.

But once again thank you for your kind comments. It was a pleasure reading them.
